Reed’s 2nd Birthday

We celebrated Reed’s birthday over the course of the entire weekend. Everyone was so generous that we had to spread out the fun. On Saturday morning, Reed opened special presents from us.

Sunday morning, we opened presents with Grammie and Paw Paw. Reed refused all clothing except his slippers.

Then it was party time! Several of Reed’s good friends came over to celebrate, play with balloons and share some cake. One of Reed’s buddies “helped” him blow out his candles.

We finished the day with a video call to Gigi and Grandpa. Reed had so much fun for his birthday, he couldn’t stop talking about it for days. The balloons were his favorite part (and they lasted for weeks).  A day or two later, Reed was super excited to receive more tissue paper from Aunt Morgan (he would later acknowledge that the t-shirt was pretty cool, too).
